My dad has been one of Peach & Lily’s biggest supporters from Day 1. He has always encouraged me to focus on the journey of life and to keep growing as a person. After all, the way we experience life is through our minds, and the more we expand our minds and hearts, the richer and more meaningful life becomes.
I started 2015 with a clear vision for Peach & Lily. I decided that our biggest goal was to embark on an adventure that would stretch us as a company and encourage the members of our team to grow as individuals. I also wanted us to become a team that would never say never to challenges we face while discovering the most innovative beauty treasures and creating absolutely delightful experiences for our growing Peach & Lily community,
While we increased our sales more in 2015 than in any other year, I am most eager to celebrate the individual growth of the Peach and Lily team members, and the way in which we came together as a team to execute incredibly exciting initiatives for our customers.

Here are some of my favorite 2015 highlights:
We partnered with Sephora to launch their K-beauty campaign (after 12 months of collaboration!), which included our beloved May Coop Raw Sauce and Caolion pore packs.
We also partnered with Target, SpaceNK, and QVC to give as many people as possible access to Korean beauty. QVC gave us an amazing platform to bring K-beauty to 80 million households with their first-ever Asian Beauty Show where we introduced our customer-favorite Shangpree Hydrogel Eye Masks, and our Mizon Snail Cream – one snail mucin convert at a time!
We launched several campaigns to support Restore NYC, a nonprofit that rescues victims of sex trafficking. 100% of net proceeds from our Restore Collection, including many of our bestselling products, support this important cause, and our #MaskforaCause campaign continues to raise awareness for Restore NYC.
Other 2015 highlights: speaking at the WWD Beauty Summit alongside the President of Sephora, Estee Lauder, and the CEO of Unilever; hosting Urban Outfitters beauty anniversary event; launching Peach Slices, Peach and Lily’s fun-loving, savvy little sister; #SeoulBeautyTripping with Emily Weiss from Into the Gloss and Glossier and later Aimee Song, Dani Song, Chriselle Lim and Linette Kim; becoming Byrdie Beauty’s Korean Beauty correspondent; and launching our #AskLily program where customers can email hello@peachandlily.com to get personalized skin consultations and tailored recommendations. And, of course, hosting the first-ever Korean beauty sample sale, where thousands of Peach and Lily customers lined up around a block in midtown Manhattan.
Our most recent milestone happened this November, when we opened our first brick-and-mortar door with Macy’s. This was one of the most exciting, landmark moments for Peach & Lily, but also presented so many challenges. In the midst of a really busy year, we had our first conversation about this possibility in the summer, and suddenly found ourselves on a very abbreviated timeline to design, conceptualize and, open our store all before Black Friday. This process was the most profoundly touching one for me: our team looked at this tremendous challenge and not a single person balked. (Please visit us at Macy’s in Flushing, NY!)

I have seen my colleagues here at Peach & Lily grow so much – I’ve been so inspired and challenged by each of them. Together, for all of 2015, we have focused on expanding our abilities, challenging ourselves and each other, and building a company that makes us proud. It hasn’t always been easy, but I’m so glad that we took on the challenge to go beyond what we thought our limits would be. That’s made all the difference.
We thank each of you for supporting us through this past year – none of this would have been possible without you.
Given the wonderful year of growth we had in 2015, I thought long and hard about our 2016 goals, and decided that in this new year, we will be focused on passion (more about this soon!).
We are so grateful for each of you and look forward to passionately working towards new initiatives in 2016 to help bring the best of Korean beauty your way!
Cheers to radiance,
Alicia
