After months of reading through your reviews, poring over your survey answers (we emailed you last year asking about your favorite K-beauty products), digging into formulas and results, we saw 17 products that rose to the top. What's your fave skincare tip?
Care for your eyes and your lips! In the last year, I've discovered that using your eyecare on both your eyes and lips is a great way to combat the aging process. The skin around your eyes and on your lips are very thin and sensitive which is why typically your skincare is a great option to use as a lip treatment.
What's your fave product from our award series?
It's so hard to choose just one! I am honestly such a fan of multiple products from this series, in particular though, I love the Femmue Gypsy Rose Calming Mask.
Chocolate or Vanilla?
Chocolate! Yum!
Coffee or tea?
Coffee all day every day. (Though sometimes tea at night is pretty lovely, too)
What do you to de-stress?
When I am stressed out, I find that giving myself some quiet time is the best way to ease my nerves. I'll often apply a mask, grab a good book and read for a couple hours. I think it's important to give your mind a break now and again from the daily grind!
What are 3 things people don't know about you?
- I have two fur babies - Oliver & Holly
- I'll take pie over cake any day!
- I love lemons - so much so that I'll just cut them up and eat them like an orange!
What is your favorite place in the world?
I love Sayulita, Mexico - it's like a home away from home for me. But I also adore Vancouver - during the summer it's so unbelievably beautiful.
Dream vacation spot?
I've been lucky enough to go to a few of my dream vacation spots - Paris and Cinque Terre specifically. In the future, I hope to travel around Croatia, Greece, Maldives, and I've always thought it would be amazing to visit Bora Bora.
Who's your hero?
My grandpa has always been my biggest hero. He passed away years ago, but even today he remains as one of the biggest inspirations in my life. He was hard-working, determined, and always kind. He always displayed a quiet and calm sort strength that I hope one day to have as well.
What inspires you?
I feel like inspiration is all around me - I feel inspired when readers ask questions, when I see a new neat product on the shelves, and when there is a unique new trend coming out.
Best tip for aspiring influencers?
Don't be afraid to be yourself. For so long, I was so nervous to share my personality online but in the end what makes you stand out is your unique quirks, humor, and voice.
Anything else you’d like to share?
My biggest advice to everyone would be if you have a dream - just go for it! You never know where your drive and determination may land you, and it's better to try than to never know.
